Back in my second home

Today is Sunday, which makes it two days that we have been here, and we've already experienced so much. Coming over we had a 5 hour delay in Japan, which allowed us to share with several Filippinos. Out of those, one was already a believer and a couple of them wanted to base their salvation through works only. Pray that the hearts will be open to the gospel and clarity that it is through Christ alone. We made it to the Philippines at 5 a.m., where Eva from CLF and Mrs. Firmalan and her daughters picked us up.

Mom and I worked seperately today as she spoke on a seminar to about 20 students on evangelism and I spoke to a group of about 15 women on nutrition. Out of those 15, 6 women made decisions for Christ and are now new believers. Even though, their physical health is declining and I felt there was nothing I could do - they have a new hope and their spiritual health has been met through Christ.

As for the rest of the week, mom will be traveling to another city for medical clinics and doing evangelism, where I will be here teaching more nutrition lessons to mothers with malnourished children.

I am overwhelmed with what God is doing over here!
